CHQ News:On SDE to DE promotion, a proposal moved by the concerned section for promotion of about 4,800 SDEs covering list 5, 6 and 7, due to the conflict in the Hon SC judgment of 2014 and the interim order. As per the proposal 1,700 clear AGM/DE vacancies are only available today. Remaining 3,100 posts required to be created new by diversion of MT quota and by upgradation of SDE posts by matching savings. Since it involves financial implications, it may have to get the approval of BSNL Board, according to the proposal. Management yet to take a call on this to create the additional posts and going to the BSNL Board. For conduction of DPC, two more years ACR, 2015-16 and 2016-17 also required for which letters already issued.
JAO to AO and AO to CAO promotion is held up due to the stay on promotions. However continuous efforts are going on to find some way out.
The JTO(C/E) to SDE(C/E) and SDE(C/E) to EE(C/E) DPCs also moving very fast, to complete it before this month end.
All CSs / Dss and activists are requested to personally put their best efforts to see that APAR and VC is reaching BSNLCO / Circle offices by the scheduled date so that maximum feasible promotions can be materialized before implementation of CPSU Hierarchy by this month end.
CHQ is trying to implement CPSU Hierarchy before the month end so that promotion can be given to those Executives, around 250, retiring this month on 30.06.2018. The minutes of the last Board meeting will be issued by next week
